‘Stitchers’ Actor Damon Dayoub Lands Recurring Role on ‘Chicago Fire’

Actor Damon Dayoub, who played Detective Quincy Fisher on Stitchers, has landed a recurring role on NBC’s drama series Chicago Fire. He will have a multi-episode arc on the show.

According to Deadline, Damon Dayoub will play Jake Cordova, a confident, rugged man’s man firefighter.

Damon Dayoub is excited to be on Chicago Fire, but he’s been freezing there. While filming in Chicago, temperatures hit 1 degree.

“Wait.... Sunny and 1 ?!?! Is that even possible?” Damon Dayoub wrote after checking the weather.

Damon Dayoub took to Instagram to announce his recurring role on Chicago Fire. “So now you know why I’m in Chicago freezing my butt off... the entire@nbcchicagofire Cast and crew are absolutely amazing!! Having a blast, and can’t wait for y’all to see what we have in store for you!! #cantstopcordova,” Damon Dayoub wrote.

Chicago Fire is currently on hiatus, but it will return on March 1. Chicago Fire airs Thursdays at 10/9c on NBC and stars Taylor Kinney and Jesse Spencer.
