Emma Ishta is an Australia actress best know for her role as Kirsten Clark on ABC Family’s Stitchers.

Emma Ishta was born on November 30, 1990.  She began modeling when she was thirteen.  She has worked as a model for DKNY and D&G.

Emma lives in New York and is married to Daniel James McCabe (writer and director).  Emma starred in Daniel McCabe’s play The Flood.

Emma is also a talented musician.  She played the violin for fifteen years.  She also sings and plays the piano.  She studied music at the Queensland Conservatorium for a while.  She wanted to be a musician until she realized she didn’t want the lifestyle of a musician.  She wasn’t interested in the party scene or being on tour.

Before landing the role of Kirsten Clark on Stitchers, Emma had guest appearances on the television shows Black Box (ABC), Power (Starz), and Manhattan Love Story (ABC).  She also played Katrina in the movie I Smile Back.
