Kyle Harris Joins CBS Drama Pilot ‘God Friended Me’

Stitchers actor Kyle Harris (Cameron Harris) has joined the cast of the CBS drama pilot God Friended Me.

God Friended Me is a humorous, uplifting hourlong procedural series that explores questions of faith, existence and science.

Miles (The Mayor’s Brandon Michael Hall) is an outspoken atheist whose life is turned upside down when he is “friended” by God on Facebook. Unwittingly, he becomes an agent of change in the lives and destinies of others around him. The cast also includes Suraj Sharma and Javicia Leslie.

Kyle Harris landed a guest-starring role as Eli James, a handsome tech-billionaire and former friend of Miles, according to ET.

God Friended Me also stars Violett Beane (Jesse Quick on The Flash) and Joe Morton (Rowan Pope on Scandal).

Violett Beane will star as Cara Weiss. Confident, compelling and quick-witted, Cara is a leading writer at an online magazine. Under pressure for her next big story, her life takes an interesting turn when she meets Miles — thanks to God’s friend suggestion.

Joe Morton will play Reverend Arthur Finer (Miles’ father). A thoughtful and intelligent man, Arthur Finer has been the reverend of Trinity Church for the past 25 years. Although he doesn’t agree with his son’s strong rejection of his faith, he wants him back in his life, according to Deadline.
