Anna Akana Stars in Japanese-Inspired Metro Etiquette Videos

Anna Akana, the YouTuber/actress who had a recurring role as Camille's girlfriend Amanda on Stitchers, starred in a series of fun Japanese-inspired Metro rider etiquette videos. The videos were directed by YouTube personality Mike Diva.

These fun public service ads are heavily influenced by J-pop. Anna Akana stars as a "Super Kind" superhero who stops an orange and pink “Rude Dude” monster from using bad etiquette while riding the Metro.

In the ads, Anna Akana shows off her singing skills as she battles "Rude Dude" with her superpowers. (Anna Akana sang with actress Allison Scagliotti on an episode of Stitchers, too). The catchy songs encourage riders to be considerate while on the Metro.

In the "Metro Manners PSA: Super Kind - Eating イーティング" video, the "Rude Guy" accidentally flings candy at other passengers while eating. “When you ride on the bus or rail, don’t eat popcorn, meat or kale," Anna Akana sings.

In the "Metro Manners PSA: Super Kind - Aisle Blocking ブロキング" video, "Rude Dude" blocks the aisle with a bike. "Super Kind" uses laser beams to transform the bike into confetti. Of course, she then has to clean up the confetti.

In the "Metro Manners PSA: Super Kind - Seat Hogging ホギング" video, Rude Dude puts a crate of pineapples on the seat next time him. "Don't be that guy, taking up space with your stuff on the seat or by spreading your legs," Anna Akana sings. After she finishes her song, the pineapples go flying out of the bus.

What do you think of these creative Metro rider etiquette videos starring Stitchers actress Anna Akana?
